PRICE ON REQUEST“Nuvola” nasce dall’idea che occorre guardare gli oggetti da diverse prospettive per capirne l’essenza e dalla consapevolezza che nulla è come sembra. Al primo impatto si presenta come un tavolo classico e lineare, ma basta cambiare l’angolazione dello sguardo per dare spazio all’immaginazione e scoprire un’altra realtà: il “mondo di sotto”. Proprio con l’intento di valorizzare questo mondo, cioè la parte che di solito si considera la meno nobile, è nato il progetto. La contrapposizione tra le linee geometriche della parte superiore e le linee morbide di quella inferiore, fa pensare che sotto l’aspetto “razionale” se ne nasconda uno tutto da scoprire, quello “irrazionale” e l’immagine della nuvola da sempre riconduce a sensazioni emozionali, come la magia, il sogno, l’imprevedibile… Anche i materiali sottolineano questa contrapposizione: legno massello sopra, poliuretano e vetroresina sotto, ma la realizzazione, pur nella sua peculiare ambivalenza, si presenta uniforme nella laccatura a vernice nanoceramica total white, molto compatta nella versione monolitica, senza punti di giuntura e solida, grazie alla struttura metallica interna a nido d’ape.
“Nuvola” comes up from the idea that we need to look at the objects from different perspectives to understand their essence and from the awareness that nothing is how it seems. At first this table looks like classic and linear, but if you only change the angulation of your sight you will find space for imagination and you will discover an other reality: the “world below”. This project comes especially with the intention to valorize this world, that is usually, the part considered the less noble. The contraposition between the geometric lines of the top and the soft ones of the lower suggest that under the “rational” aspect there is always another to discover, the “irrational” one. The image of the cloud is often associated to emotional feelings, like the magic, the dream, the unpredictable… Also materials emphasizes this contraposition: solid wood on top, polyurethane and fiberglass in the lower part. Even in its peculiar ambivalence the realization of the product appears uniform thanks to the nanoceramic white lacquering paint . The final aspect is a monolith: white, very compact, without any juncture and solid.
